Jakhoo Temple

Jakhoo Temple is an ancient temple in Shimla, dedicated to the Hindu Lord Hanuman. It is situated on Jakhoo Hill at a height of 2,455 meter above sea level. According to the Ramayana, Lord Hanuman stopped at Jakhoo Hill to rest while searching for the Sanjivani Booti to revive Lakshmana. One will witness a giant 108-feet-high idol of Lord Hanuman at this temple.

Toy Train Ride

It was built-in 1903, this toy train ride is one of India’s most incredible feats of engineering covering a staggering 102 tunnels, 864 bridges, and 919 stunning curves. The Shimla toy train was declared as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. This Kalka Shimla Toy Train is said to be one of the most scenic railway journeys in India which covers around 96 kms of distance between Kalka to Shimla.

Christ Church

This Church built in the neo-Gothic style and is a prominent building on The Ridge. It is situated at a prime location in Shimla. This Church was the first one built in Shimla and was used by Viceroy of India to worship. It is painted in soft yellow with fairly simple architectural lines.

Kufri

An ideal getaway for adventure activities such as trekking and hiking and a prominent horticultural place in Himachal Pradesh. Parwanoo is located 35 km away from Chandigarh and is known for its beautiful orchards. This small town offers beautiful apple orchards and delicious fruit products.
